Profile: Mena Westhaver, athlete, power skating, and running coach, and Saanich councillor

Mena will be busy between teaching power skating, fulfilling her role on Saanich Council and coaching runners. She will also be keeping track of her five-boy family (four sons, and one husband). Follow her updates on her Sole Sisters athletes as they run the series.

Mena Westhaver started the Sole Sisters Running Club. You may know her for raising money for various causes including cancer with Cops for Cancer. Or perhaps you know her as a leader with the TC10K Run Clinic program.
 
She is a power skating coach who has worked with the Victoria Grizzlies. Mena is a mother of four, runner, coach and now elected to Saanich Council in the latest municipal elections.
