Profile: Ellen Pennock, professional triathlete, paratriathlon guide and creative director at Fiesty Media

Keep track of Ellen. She may be retired from international triathlon, but she is still racing when she toes the line. Follow her musings around each race of the series (that she does).

Ellen Pennock competed for Canada for over 10 years in triathlon. She was a member of the 2014 Commonwealth Games team, 2015 Pan American Games team and competed at four World Championships as a junior, U23, and paratriathlon guide. Her best finish at a World Championships was 2nd at the U23 World event in 2013.

After retiring from triathlon racing in 2020, she continues to fill her love for training and competing with the Esprit Run Club, coached by Jim Finlayson.

Ellen now works full-time as the creative director for Feisty Media, a media outlet aimed at creating an empowering culture for active women, and as a coach for Triathlon BC.

This past summer, she coached with Team BC at the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
